What is Cluade and Anthropic

Anthropic, who developed Claude, is a former OpenAI employee team co-founded startup, which has launched an AI chatbot called Claude that it claims is easier to converse with than OpenAI’s ChatGPT and is “much less likely to produce harmful outputs.” Claude can perform tasks including searching across documents, summarising, writing and coding, and answering questions about particular topics. The chatbot is available in two versions, Claude and Claude Instant. The former is slower and more expensive than the latter, a faster, less costly derivative. Claude was trained on public web pages up to spring 2021 and has not yet had to leverage the internet.
